How I lead
creative.
Business problem first. Everything else follows: understand, position, systematize, direct, measure.
Discovery
I start by understanding the business challenge, not the design challenge. I interview executives, customers, sales and product teams. What problem are we solving? Who's the customer? Why should they care? What does success look like?
Strategy
From those insights I develop positioning, messaging, and narrative frameworks. This becomes the spine for all creative work. No design happens until strategy is locked.
Creative Direction
I translate strategy into creative direction: visual identity, campaign concepts, event themes, keynote narratives. I direct all output, and I do not stop at reviewing it. I set the standard by doing the work.
Operational Systems
While producing creative, I build the systems that let work scale: design systems, intake, approval workflows, vendor management, asset libraries. This is how small teams maintain consistency at scale.
Measurement
I measure what matters: business impact (sales, efficiency, adoption) and team health (eNPS, retention). This tells us what's working and what to adjust.
How I work
with your team
I work best as a partner, not a vendor. I want to understand your business deeply, help your team get better, and build systems that outlast my involvement.
- Weekly cadence meetings for strategy updates
- Direct work with executives, not through intermediaries
- Clear decision rights, no endless loops
- Regular measurement reviews against targets
